Relampago do Retiro - "My Olympic Partner"

Relampago do Retiro has been my most outstanding and important horse to date. Together we made our international debut, Grand Prix debut, were the best Australian combination at the 2008 Olympic Games, represented Australia at the 2010 World Equestrian Games and travelled the globe representing Australia and the lusitano breed.

Reli was bred and owned by Eduardo Fischer of Cavallias Holdings and Villa do Retiro in Brasil. Not only a great dressage partner but a best mate. He was a little package with the heart of a lion. Tragically taken from us June 2011, Reli is sadly missed on my team and will always be remembered.

Our career highlight thus far has been the individual 18th place at the 2008 Olympics in China.
